Engr Abdullahi Isah Jankara, the Magajin Yakin Lapai has rejoiced with the former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida rtd, on his 83rd birthday on Saturday 17th August 2024.
The erstwhile governatorial aspirant in Niger state commended elder statesman for his untiring efforts at preserving the unity of Nigeria.
The President of Kutigi Old Boys Association KUOSA, Engr Jankara, in a congratulatory message to the former Military President on behalf of the people and the Lapai emirate, disclosed that General Babangida continues to be a beacon of hope and strength to all Nigerians.
The Magajin Yakin Lapai further reiterated that the former President's consistency in preaching the unity of Nigeria is a worthy virtue for emulation.
Engr Abdullahi Isah Jankara then added that "history of Nigeria will always be incomplete without paying tribute to IBB’s contributions and landmark achievements in the socio-economic and political development of our great country”.
The retired oil and gas expert prayed that the Almighty God will continue to strengthen and guide the former President in good health and wisdom to continue to guide and mentor Nigerians for the overall advancement of the nation.
